Finding Your Spot in Paros When it comes to where to stay, the two most popular areas are Naousa and Parikia.Naousa is lively, colorful, and full of that blue-and-white Cycladic beauty — the narrow streets, little shops, and coastal bars make it a favorite for those chasing the island’s nightlife.Parikia, on the other hand, is calmer and located right by the port. It’s perfect if you want a quieter stay, great sunset views, and easy access to ferries. Personal experience: For our trip, we stayed near Parikia in a small hotel. It was cozy, budget-friendly, and perfectly located. We relied on the buses to get around the island, which worked really well and made exploring everything easy without a car. By ferry from Pounda – Just 10 minutes by car or bus from Parikia. The ferry ride takes only 7 minutes and costs about €1.5 per person or €7 with a car. This is the fastest and most budget-friendly option, especially if you’re bringing a vehicle. 💡 Tip: If you’re traveling with luggage or without a car, the Parikia boat is more convenient.
